Great answer just above. If you are in the market for purchasing a day care facility please be aware of two important items:
1. Financing is not the same as for a residential house. It would be considered commercial in most circumstances and require a higher downpayment. Owner financing is not out of the question.
2. If the property is not currently operating as a daycare, be sure to check zoning laws and Homeowners Association(if applicable) to verify that the land use is allowed. Occaisionally, a property will be granted a non-conforming use only as long as it stays in business continually. In any event, good luck. Andy
