I'm wondering how difficult it is so secure a spot in Collingswood Language Academy?

I know there is a lottery, but I can't find information about how many on average apply and how many are accepted.

It depends on where you live, and what language your child wants to study... plus a little luck is involved. I can tell you that if you are persistent and go to the school you might have better luck... (wink wink, nod, nod). My assistants son is in the French program, a friends daughter is in the German program, and one of my clients teaches Japanese there. I know the French program is very popular... If you want to write me I can see if I can get you some more info.

I would guess that your best bet would be to put a call in to the school tomorrow to see what they say. It is so hard with this kind of stuff as you just never know and there is no guarantee. I wish you the best.
