Not sure if you bought yet, Lower Merion is a superior award winning school district. Please contact me if you are still looking.

Kivi-

There are a number of resources online for researching school districts all over Pennsylvania:

http://www.schooldigger.com
http://www.eschoolprofile.com
or as Eric suggested, http://www.greatschools.org

When you are all set to meet with a Realtor, I would love the opportunity to meet with you and review your needs for your new home.

Hi Kivi, my name is Eric Axelson. I am an Associate Broker with Kurfiss Sotheby's International Realty, the luxury real estate firm with offices on Rittenhouse Square and New Hope. We do a lot of business on the Main Line, in fact we recently sold a great home in Ardmore and have a great listing in the Lower Merion school district.

While the law prohibits Realtors from steering clients to one school district over the other, I can say that I recently heard that the Lower Merion school district is one of the best school districts in the ENTIRE COUNTRY! I would recommend you do your own research on http://www.greatschools.org or a similar website.

Are you ready to meet with a Realtor yet? THere is no cost to you as the Seller pays our fee. It is HIGHLY recommended that you have professional representation in the purchase of a home and I would be willing to act as your "guide" to the Main Line.

Best of luck to you and hope to hear from you soon. Have a great Friday!

Congratulations on your decision to buy a home, Kivi. To answer your question, it depends. I'm not an educator and can't honestly say which district would best serve your children's needs. Having said this, both are blue ribbon school districts and consistently rank well in best of list, both locally and nationally. Now for your home search, there are so many other questions that need answers, and a buyer consultation would be the best way to have this conversation. Let me know. Good Hunting!
