Hi Tess everyone has given you great advice regarding choosing a school... you might also look into charter schools as well. I would be glad to email you a link that provides you with information for schools. Also I would like to speak with you about your decision to move or not and help you determine if it is in your best interest.

Honestly you should do your research on the different schooling options yourself. It's your opinion that really matters in the end when it comes to your children. While you have come to the right place for advice regarding real estate and mortgage questions your question is really too complex for this forum in my opinion.

Your question is to "wide open" provide an answer there are several schools all in that area. Keep in mind private schools are expensive my daughter just graduated from one of the top private high schools here in DFW area expense from 3rd - 12 th grade average approx. $15K - $18K per year. However now attending OU in the Fall.

Personal preference OR move / purchase a home in top rated school district here in DFW not take that additional expense. EXAMPLE: many luxury communities here in DFW area children attend private schools than public schools.

Contact my office today where I can show you many amazing homes work with your family specifications.

Dear Tess --

We would love to help you with your questions, but we really don't know enough about your situation to be able to answer it on here. Since I am sure you don't wish to place all of your personal info on a public website, please contact me directly for a confidential consultation, at no charge.

You mentioned a Zip Code where there are apartments, and there are nice houses in the $200k to $300k + price range. There is a big difference! So maybe a move IS in your future. And if you want to establish the right address before school starts, you need to get cracking, because registration for most schools around here is opening up in 6 weeks, and it can take that long to buy a house!

If, however, you are talking about moving from one apartment to another, that is a different scenario. You can get an apartment on the First of July, and you'll be ready for school to start in August. I can't help you rent an apartment, but I can help you lease a house or purchase a house. The latter is cheaper than renting. If you are wondering if you qualify to buy a house, then contact me and I will show you how that is determined. Since I have been selling homes around here for 33 years, I am very familiar with the area and the differenet school systems. H-E-B has good schools, and if you want to stay near 183 & 360, we can help you locate the right house.

Just give us a call, or drop an email to me, and you will receive the friendliest service in town! I can also show you how to set up a small savings plan for your 4-year-old that will be worth THOUSANDS of dollars when he or she reaches retirement age.

Best regards,
