I am relocating from IN and don't understand the schools at all. Where is the best High Schools and how do I?

know if my home is in that area. Need answers before I buy a home. Thanks

Lee county has "school choice" this link will take to the "New to the District" web page http://www.leeschools.net/info/new.htm.
The best high school is the one that is the best fit for your student. What does he/she excell in / what to study/ gifted program/ math/ arts ? we have many good schools in the district and I am sure you will find the one that is the best fit.

don't have any kids but live around the corner of a high school and here are some homes available

Hi Nikkole,

I don't know about the best high school, I guess it's a matter of opinion. I live in Sarasota county and my two older children go to Pine View School for the Gifted in Osprey. It was rated the number six school in the US by Us News. The school has grades 2-12th on the same campus and is a public school. Everyone has pretty much already answered the question. I am from IN also & the school system is much different here. You can buy in a certain geographical zone & pick which school you'd like your children to attend. I wrote a blog about it you can read below. Good luck - contact us for any more assistance!

Hi,
I am located in Cape Coral, FL. here is the link for the lee county public school enrollment information.

We have what is called school choice. You are in a certain zone and from that zone you pick what school you would like your child to attend. You must pick many choices in case the one you want is filled. Maybe you have located a home then on the website above look for the map of school zones. If you need anymore help please let me know.
