If you would like to know how each school (elementary, middle and high school) rank based upon standardize test results check outhttp:// www.psk12.com. Although you can see for free the results from 2001 , you can subscribe to their service and get the latest data. If education is important to you, I'd recommend it that you pay for the service. I did and it was worth it.
Another site you should check-out ishttp:// www.city-data.com. It compiles lots of data on each town such as avg income, avg housing price, crime stats, etc. The most helpful section to me was the blog much like this one.-Real people give you real answers to your questions about the town(s) your investigating. As I remember it was Lord Nelson who said something about the playing fields of Eaton and the winning of the naval battle at Trafalgar. Stop worrying about your kids and get them to hack things that come their way. Buy your house that suits you and your family as a whole. Get your kids out and get them to play in the streets and playgrounds, that will teach them more than any kind of school district nonsence.

As by law, we realtors are not allowed to answer the question in re: to school districts. You can look on Newsday.com for reports on school districts or go to the local police for reports on crimes in different neighborhoods and areas. They can even provide you with stats on crimes/arrests within the schools themselves.

Realtors are not allowed, by law, to comment on neighborhoods or school districts. There are many websites that will provide you with "school reports."
Athttp:// www.GailGladstone.com you can click on "school info" and pull up any schools anywhere in the country and compare them. Feel free to contact me offline with any questions you may have...I am in North Shore Long Island. Sun May 4 2008, 11:47 Web Reference: http://GailGladstone.com
