We are looking to move to Mountain House in the summer of 08, but I have concerns regarding daycare. Do the schools offer before and after school care or do you have to go into Tracy for daycare? Our daughter will be starting 5th grade in the fall.

Mike/Michelle there is 1 school in MH right now that makes up the "District" Wicklund Elementary. Here is a link to the school "District" http://www.lammersvilleschooldistrict.net/. MH is still an infant as far as cities go. It offers wonderful potential and is a great place to live, but there are going to be sacrifices, one of them may be going into Tracy for a while for infrastructure. It's a great time to buy in the Central Valley! The Coach 209-758-3113 or thecoach@prucalifornia.com (always shoot straight)

There are quite a few different after school programs for kids in Mountain House. If you start searching the individual schools you will see the options. Keep in mind that Mountain House is part of Lammersville School District and Lammersville has been around for a very long time. They would make certain that kids have a safe place to be.
