Can anyone give me a comparison of East Brunswick schools to Hillsborough schools please?I have gone on

If your kids are TOP students, meaning straight A's students like myself went to Berkeley both under and graduate and got straight A's there, I would suggest that your kids go to Piscataway like my kids got #1 in FBLA Competition in NJ win over hundreds of all other high schools last year and went to Chicago with 9 other students who also won #1 in their FBLA events; my kid's team also won over 40 other states' #1 and stepped in to final and eventually got the plaque back for Piscataway High School.

If your kids are so so students and need lots of pushes, then East Brunswick is great since they put lots of extra money (yes, property tax is high because of that) to provide that pushes. e.g. Piscataway High School Science League Club only meet once a week, but East Brunswick meet 5 times a week, great bootcamp. But my kid's Physics Science league first exam got 184 won over hundreds of all other high schools in NJ. In general East Brunswick's team are also in top 10.

If your kids are somehow independent, then Hillsboro could be a better choice. Hillsboro High School's ranking is moving up due to the fact many education concerned families moved over. It is more rural. By the way greatschools are NOT that accurate due to the fact it is ranked by parents, and many parents may not use it. e.g. I never use it.

One catch is that East Brusnwick screen out "academic behind" students, so if your kids are NOT that competitive, you may end up move out of East Brunswick later ... This is very similar to Berkeley, I saw over 30% of my Sophomore classmates eventually could NOT declare major at Berkeley and had to transfer out to other schools such as Stanford Univ, UCLA, ...etc. Many of them were top students in their high schools ...
