Have you considered purchasing?

Two main factors have driven rents up. First, with foreclosures so high and many families beings displaced rental homes have increasingly been in high demand. Also, the Rancho Cucamonga area is a convenient location to move to for commutes throughtout the Inland Empire and Orange and L.A. Counties.

Rentals are in high demand over the past several years do to the Short sales and foreclosures. It basically comes down to supply & demand. I have lived in Rancho for over 35 years and have watched the city grow with leaps and bounds and become one of the most highly desireable places to live. Not only is Rancho close to many areas but the schools are well sought after in Rancho as well.

I agree with Joan below, if you have good credit you may want to look into buying for 2700/month or less you could get into a beautiful home in the Rancho area. There are many loan programs out there and the interest rates are still at record lows. PLease feel free to visit my website http://www.karibrandler.com/ I have many tools that can help you in looking for a home to buy or rent. I would love to be able to help you in your search for a home. Thank you and have a great day.

Rents have risen due to several factors. The first one that I can see is ever since people have had to short sell their homes, or had their homes foreclosed on. These people need to rent since they cannot purchase a home right away. So, they are in competition with the other renters out there as well.

Rancho Cucamonga is a highly desirable area to rent as this City is so close to so many others.

If you have good credit, you should just purchase a home. Buying a home is sometimes, if not most of the time, cheaper than renting.

If you are working with an agent that knows about rentals, then you should be in good hands to get a home rented soon.

Hi Fourcejay,

Rancho Cucamonga and the surrounding areas are highly competitive due to the limited supply of available rental properties and the high demand for our popular city, Rancho Cucamonga! Many prospective buyers and tenants are drawn to Rancho Cucamonga because of the award winning school districts in Rancho, the Victoria Gardens shopping center, and the proximity of freeways, as well as the safety and community. If you are working with a savvy Realtor, I'm sure you'll find your application being approved soon. Best of luck to you!

The rental rate is purely a function of available supply to meet tenant demand. If there are multiple people competing to rent a home, the highest bidder will win. If you don't want to pay, then you don't have to bid up.
