Just do a search for your local areas tax records and you should be able to see that status of this home. I would search by the address and find the owners name. Then you can find the PIN number and much information on the situation.
Good luck

A good starting point would be http://www.GeorgiaPublicNotices.com.

You can check the public tax records to see if the property has been flagged for foreclosure. I would also suggest working with a real estate agent to locate a rental to suit your needs. They can assist with quickly obtaining the necessary information to assist you in your decision making process.
