Rent to own agreements are drawn up by people that EXPECT you to miss a payment. Once you do, you lose everything you have put into it. There are LOTS of people out there ready to let you gamble on this! Be careful. Why not engage a mortgage broker to assist you with repairing your credit and preparing you for the purchase of a home. You can also hire a good real estate agent, (preferably a CRS) that will work with you through the process (even if it takes years, which it shouldn't.) Protect yourself and avoid these scams.
We usually stay away from rent to own. It ends up not really being of benefit to the buyer. You end up paying more for the house than it is worth. Green Valley is a great area and hard to obtain a house at this time. WE are always looking for someone to sell in that neighborhood. Rentals are popping up on recently homes that have been turned into rentals as investment properties.
