Dane Smith, Renter in Dallas, TX

Why are all these units called a "house" when they clearly are not? Its almost as bad as Craigslist with all the apartment spam.

All what units? You attached nothing so we can't understand what you are looking at.

There are a lot of rental scams and scammers out there. You have to have your common sense turned on when dealing with online rentals. Perhaps finding a Realtor to work with might be a better idea for you.

Just clearly check listings and you may want to hire a Realtor to get real and available listings.

"HOUSE" has become a generic name; like kleenex
I noticed this first on the foreign real estate shows on TV; everything is called a house; evidently that is the way a lot of languages translate into English.
You can't stop it; might as well accept it.

Which properties are you referring to? I agree with Tim, you really should use a realtor, as they can better help you with your specific needs. And yes, there are a lot of scams.

What properties are you referring to? If you think it's been miscategorized, you can always "flag" the listing and Trulia will look into it.
