Morgan Quigl…, Renter in Oaklyn, NJ

Need advice on finding an affordable apartment in my area, or Section 8 housing searching advice.

Asked by Morgan Quigley, Oaklyn, NJ Tue Nov 29, 2011

I would need a 1 - 2 bedroom apartment for myself, my 7 month old daughter, and my boyfriend who is recently unemployed. I work a part time job, and collecting no other assistance but my own paychecks.

Hello Morgan,
Thanks for your question.
The City of Camden Housing Dept. provides different programs for people in your situation. Call them at Telephone: (856) 968-2795.
There is TRA, Section 8. There is assistance for the payment of utilities, etc.
Good luck.

There are many rental placement companies. Check online or in your local paper. You can also check for apartment rental books found in your local grocery stores or news stands. I have found in my area that there is a rental for all income brackets. Best of luck to you!
