Brittany, Renter in East Hampton, NY

My family and I are looking for a year round rental. Anywhere between east Hampton to Hampton bays, or even Flanders/ Riverhead.

Our old house we were renting was hit pretty bad by Sandy. Maybe around no more than $1700 a month? Preferably 3 bedrooms and where pets are allowed.

Hello Brittany!
If you would like assistance in finding the perfect new home for you and your family, please contact me. I have personal experience in dealing with housing issues due to an "act of nature" disaster so I know first hand how stressful the process is. I can provide you with valuable information to help you make informed decisions.
Have you thought about purchasing a home in lieu of renting?
Good luck in your search!

A great source for rentals is http://www.HREO.com, or http://www.mlsli.com. For $1700 a month, I would recommend looking in Hampton Bays, Springs, Flanders or Riverhead. There is great public transportation to Flanders - buses form the Suffolk County Authority #10E and 10A, also conveniently serve the Noyac area.

Hello, Brittany, I am sorry about your situation with your house.
Here is another tip. Have you considered a temporary "winter' rental? The rates for the winter months in these areas are significantly lower. I am certain it will be possible to find something that will suit your needs.

Hello Brittany/ Sorry that you have to relocate due to hurricane Sandy. Consider working with an Agent who could assist you in your search. You could also check out http://www.mlsli.com, local print ads, as well as newspapers for available rentals.

Wishing you the best of luck.

Consider working with an agent of your own; check http://www.mlsli.com Also check local print media for by owner rentals, always verify ownership before exchanging any money; word of mouth, etc.
