My credit is less than good but I am trying to rent. I have to be out my current apartment Feb 1st. I have great rental history. Any advice??

Credit History is not a immediate disqualifier when looking to rent a home. You will need to contact a realtor in your area and i am sure they can help with finding a Landlord that has a heart . Also Peggy is correct a well written letter of explanation certainly will not harm your chances.

As for the credit issue, much will depend on the individual landlord; therefore consider being upfront, be prepared to show proof of employment/pay stubs, possibly some reference letters, etc., and go from there; or consider a guarantor...
