I've been a Realtor in the Uptown area since 1997 and would be happy to help in any way I can.
Let me know what I can do to help you. Hope this helps answer your question.

It really depends on what you want out of the neighborhood. Uptown/Turtle Creek are great areas and will have a few smaller properties scattered in it but predominately will be the larger/high-rise complexes you are trying to stay away from. If you would like close proximity to those areas but more of a smaller community or garden-style feel try the Knox Park and Knox / Henderson areas to stay close to Uptown / Turtle Creek. Or venture out a bit and look into Lakewood, Oak Lawn or White Rock to get the fun, funky and more intimate type of apartment homes that you might be looking for.
Let me know if you would like some help looking into those. I know of some great properties that can offer that change of pace if that is what your truly looking for. Hope this helps!

With my database, I am able to send you a list of properties that match your criteria and include photos, floorplans, maps, reviews, amenities, etc.
I also do all the legwork with checking availability, most current specials, views...AND I ESCORT you to the properties. That way, I'm able to give you the inside scoop on properties, as I've been leasing these properties longer than the leasing agents you work there.
And....I also offer you a Cash Rebate or Free Move!
I am a licensed broker and have been apartment locating in Uptown (I moved way back in 1994) since 1999.
If you could email me at VanessaBamback@gmail.com or call me at 214-564-4548 with you and your boyfriends: First and Last Name, Emails and Phone Numbers, I would be happy to get that list out to you this morning!
Looking forward to speaking with you!
