Looking to relocate to DT Long Beach, CA near end of year

Asked by Priscilla Wilson, Inglewood, CA Tue Sep 10, 2013

My husband and I are looking to rent a 2/2 in downtown Long Beach. Mid-High rise. Income is pretty decent 10K/mo; credit not so decent. Currently paying $2800/mo; looking to go a little lower.

If you work with the landlord and help him find good replacement tenant, then he should let you out of the lease. If you cannot get out, then you should start looking about 60 days before you plan to relocate. That will give you enough time to be selective.

Hi Michael. Thank you for the effort that you've exerted in compiling a list of possible units. Would you say that it's too soon to start searching? My husband and I have also spoke about reaching out to our current landlord to terminate lease a month or so early if possible. We are nearing the end of the 2nd year.

When you are ready and are hear you can visit my office at 189 Quincy Ave. Belmont Shore, Long Beach and see if we have any rentals available that might be of interest. I think they will take your credit into consideration if you have good explanation for the not so decent credit history.
