James, Renter in 90405

Looking to find an apartment in Santa Monica within the next few months, when is the best time to get the best deal?

Asked by James, 90405 Fri Jul 4, 2014

Budget: $1500/mo but willing to go as high as $1800. Want to live as close to the beach as possible, as that's where my office is.

Hello James if you figure out what cities/zip codes your considering, minimum number of bedrooms and the maximum payment your looking to achieve you can be set up to receive automatic daily emails to fit your search criteria. You should study RENT vs BUY options as you may qualify to buy with minimum out of pocket expenses and pay less than rent in many cities.

The rentals start from $2,250 for 1bd 1ba condo in Santa Monica in my mls currently. The inventory is quite low on rentals as well as purchase listings. You may want to check with local Santa Monica property management companies as well. Here are some blogs to study such as RENT vs BUY, Down payment and closing costs hurdles and Pre-approval in minutes.
