Looking for long.term housing for a student with a very limited amount of income in Los Angeles. Preferable close to a bus route.

Dear Mark,
You might consider renting with "room-mates" in Westchester near Loyola there are many such situations with students leasing together while they attend college. Check with the College to see if they can direct you.

I am looking for an apartment too, either a studio or 1 bedroom fin the $1000-$12000 range. Can anyone help me too? No roommates wanted though. I am 47 years old, though I do plan to attend Santa Monica College for a few courses stating in Fall 2014.
