you have a very interesting question here that realtors can not really answer as it would be against the law as it could be viewed as steering you in one or another direction. However, there are many resources where you can check a specific city/town and learn about its demographics. Regardless, I happen to have a home in the Veterans Village of Lynn. This area was developed in the 1940-50's to house military servicemen and their family. It is well kept, quiet and surrounded by trees and friend neighbors who take pride of their home and their village.
You will find many neighborhoods in the North Shore and Boston area, that are friendly and humble. It will all depend of what is that you are looking for in terms of size, amenities, price range, schools, etc.
If you have any towns in mind, check their website and you will be able to find population, amenities, schools - data produced by the last census.
I will gladly send you additional information on programs to various areas, first time home buyers, veterans, etc.

Again, thank you for your note. It is very humble and straightforward and it is so sad that you needed to make a request like that.
