Is Cibolo a good area? Is it a good area for someone relocating to Texas or would San Antonio be a better area for someone new to that area?

Depends on where you need to be in location to your job.
There are many areas around San Antonio that
really make you feel like you are in the city without the
San Antonio address.

A great area, nice schools. Depending on your job location might determine where you want to made your home nest. Good luck.......

It all depends on your personal needs, taste and likes. Either way, do not try to buy without being represented by an Experienced and seasoned Realtor.

I know many people who live in Cibolo and they enjoy their lifestyle there very much. There is a lot to offer any family who care to live on this side of town. It is especially favored by the great many military families that want to live near Randolph AFB and Fort Sam.

I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have about the area.

Its a bit of a subjective question. Depends on a ton of stuff... where you will work, what you are looking for, schools, etc. Too many factors to really answer that question.

Best thing to do... take a look at what homes are for sale in your price range in both... see which one grabs you more.

You can do a home search here: http://www.SAHomeExpert.com

Or I can pull you a much more detailed list and focus on all the items you are really looking for.

Shoot me an e-mail, text message, or give me a call :) I can also get you the very best financing as well..

Hi Ratonda:

My brother used to be city manager in Cibolo and it is a well-run, growing exoburb about 30 minutes from Central San Antonio and about 10 minutes from major shopping.

There has been an explosion of new communities there, so I would tell you to use caution when buying there if you do not intend to stay for more than a couple of years. (Continued new hosing starts can affect resale of similar homes on the secondary market).

There are excellent schools and a high standard of living as well as a good infrastructure.

Hi Ratonda,

It really just depends on which area you want to live in and works best for you! Both are great locations. If you want to live a more city-life, I think you would prefer San Antonio over Cibolo. Are you relocating for work? Let me know your wants & needs in your future home and see which area will work best for you. I'd be happy to help with your home search.

Feel free to give me a call directly and I can learn a little more about what you are looking for.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Cibolo is a great area that's close to Randolph AFB. The area is in Guadalupe county and has the pleasure of a slightly lower tax rate than Bexar county. The area has some great new subdivisions that are developing and the city has attracted some new businesses to include Amazon. Stop by my site for more info on Cibolo.
