It's best to go back to the original Lease that you signed. There should be a section that addresses how much lead-time the Landlord/Tenant agreed upon (not sure whether you are the Landlord or the Tenant in this situation). There may be a 'default' lead-time in TX if it is not noted, but most written Leases address this situation.
