The reason you're not getting much help is because the commissions for handling a rental are EXTREMELY low, and frequently not worth the trouble, ESPECIALLY with a demanding client.

If you are intent to look at all your options, which can be numerous properties, in numerous cities - which is fine - you'll probably be way too much work for most agents.

Depending on the city you're targeting, in the price range you've described, you might be better off to search - online - for apartment communities in those cities, and once you've found any that appear, online, to be suitable, go visit them, in person.

Ggiana77,

I suggest you visit http://www.rental-living.com . The Irvine Company has the widest selection of apartment communities throughout OC. You should expect to pay roughly $2 per square foot in OC. So a 2 Bed, 1-2 Bath of 1,000 sq. ft. will be roughly $2,000 per month. I think your expectations are unrealistic at $1,300 / month.

Just for "grins", I ran a quick search of Orange County 1 - 2 Bedrooms, 1 - 2 Baths maximum price of $1,300 / month. There are NO 2 bedroom apartments or condos in this price range. There are 15 1 Bedroom units between $1,150 - $1,300 but the size is from 500 - 800 sq. ft. so these will be small.

Good luck,

I could help you find a rental for 2 bedroom for $1300. per month. It would have to somewhere like Santa Ana but in a very nice location right by Southcoast Plaza, which is Metro point. Let me know if you need my help. Thanks,
