If one moved to Boston and has been offered an apartment at an incredibly high rent. Is it legal? Are there limits to what a landlord can charge?

A price can be set at whatever the landlord believes in fair.
There is a listing that is $30K a month in the Back Bay right now, and there is nothing illegal about it.
The other half of the story is that someone has to sign a lease to agree to pay the amount.
