Hi Vickie,

I specialize in relocation. I am actually licensed in 2 states. I think it is a great idea for your to lease so you can get a good feel of the area and where you actually want to live. The Dallas area is an amazing place to live and there are so many great communities. Most of my clients actually relocate here and do the same thing.

Please let me know how I can assist you. 214-621-5491

Frisco -1,200? Not likely. Good luck. Try further north, or Little Elm (next to Frisco) but friendlier. .
How about AZ? Why did you sell? I am looking to sell here and move there because I suffer from allergies and love the desert climate. Any tips?

Hi Vickie, I would be happy to assist you. The best way is I can set up a direct search with the MLS and send you a link. Over the last several months, it seems apartment prices are trending higher simply because fewer are buying causing demand on lease/rent to increase.

Welcome to is fine to rent first to get your bearings. Rents have increased here dramatically this year, so in some cases it may be cheaper to buy than rent. If you want a home, most will want a 12month lease. If you want only a six month lease, probably better stick to apartments....but you can find exceptions both ways occasionally....that is apts that want 12month or 13month lease and homes that will allow 2-3-6 months.

In Frisco at this time there will be likely very limited number of 3bedroom homes or apartments at $1200/month or less. Some, but not many. If you expand your search you will open up the possibilities. Some nearby cities may offer more options like McKinney, Plano, Richardson, Prosper, Audbry, Providence, Savannah, and Little Elm.

Welcome to Dallas! You most likely won't find a home in for $1,200 in Frisco, but you might be able to locate some in Little Elm which is still really close to that area. I specialize in all of Frisco/Little Elm/ The Colony/ Plano areas and would love to help. You can contact me at 972-800-7844

Hi Vickie-

I know you must be frustrated! Homes in your price range are going fast usually within 2-3 days after hitting the market.

It would really help you to use a Realtor and it's no cost to you! It helps to get a daily listing emailed to you of the new rental homes that have hit the market. It would also help to use an agent with years of experience in leasing, like me!

You have to be very aggressive, have all documents ready to go so you can view the homes the same day they go on the market and get your application in first.

Frisco is so competitive right now you have the be very savvy and fast.

Please feel free to text or email if I can help you with this process.
