Possibly. No credit is much better than bad credit. You will have to connect with a Real Estate Agent who will assist you in finding the right landlord! :) Best of luck.

Hi Jonathan,

I have come across very few landlords that are happy with no credit. You definitely need good rental history and good income. The rental market is so hot that landlords can cherry pick the tenant they want in their house. If you find a nice rental, don't be surprised if there are multiple applications.

Make sure the listing agent processes one application at a time. You need to know if you are going up against other applications. If another tenant has great credit and you don't, well . . . you just lost your application fee.

Some landlords feel more comfortable if you are able to put the deposit, first and last month's rent up front. It just gives them security knowing that extra payment is there.

Please let me know what you're looking for and I can setup a property search for you.

Thanks,
Mary

Good referrals help. Long work relationships with pay is most important. Most leasers have have bad credit, and that's why they lease. But if they've been at a job for 2 or 3 years, that helps.

Yes, most landlords are interested in good rental references vs good credit scores.
You will also need to pass a criminal background check.

Jonathan,
Work history, sufficient income, and good character references would go a long way in getting you approved for a rental. Let me know if I can help you in any way.

Good Luck,

Mike

Having no credit history is much better than having bad credit history. References always help.

Jonathan, you may be able to rent without a credit history but still need to have sufficient income. Contact me so we can discuss in detail.
