Not a bad time to get started on the process. I would begin with the loan pre-approval process. Just in case there are any issues that need fixing, you can get on them right now while you have the time and you are not in any type of rush.

go here: http://www.dhimortgage.com/Kasey-Hampton - quick, easy, and free! She will give you a lower rate than anyone in Texas.. you can thank me for that one later.

In the mean time, I can send you a solid list of all the homes that fit what you are looking for in the area you would like to focus on. You can get a good feel for what areas you like in your price range, and have a working list ready to go for a month or month in a half before you need to move.

I do this all the time... so coordinating the move from the apartment to the home and getting the timing just right is easy as pie!

Shoot me a text, send me an e-mail, or go old school and give me a call... I'll walk you through it step by step.. It will be fun! :)

I reccomend that you contact a realtor and begin searching for a new rental home at least 30 days prior to the lease at your current rental apartment expires. There is a high demand for rental homes now, therefore if you find a home you are interested in, acting quickly will be beneficial.

I specialized in assisting families on the northeast side of San Antonio in finding rental homes that best suit the needs of the family. I will be happy to assist you as well.

If your lease is up in 4 months you could start looking online now. Keep in mind many rentals in popular areas will be rented fast, so a house you find now may not be available in 4 months. Start looking now and you may be able to secure a rental before your lease is up.

If you are interested in buying a home I definitely recommend getting the process started now. You don't know how long it will take for you to find your dream home.

I'll assume you mean your lease is up in 4 months and not 4 years. You probably want to find an agent now to work with and even have them set up searches for you now so that you are seeing what is available.

You may even see some properties that will not be available for a couple of months so if you are set up now you may find something you can lock in in a month or so as you get closer. You will want to get serious at the 45 day mark before your current lease ends.

Hope this helps.

If your lease is up in 4 years, then you've got plenty of time left and don't need to look anytime soon.
