I have a studio on my property attached by a roof line, do I need a business license to rent the studio?

From what I glean from your question if it's your property you shouldn't need a business license to rent it. It would be like renting a room or a granny flat I would think. Now if you're going o rent it to someone who want to run a business out of it that's another story.

k They would then need a license. Or if you're planning to run a business from the studio technically you'd need one as well. But you really should consult with the city and find out what their requirements are.
