I asked about month to month rentals, is a year lease more common and is that a problem finding properties for that period of time?

Most of the lease that i do is 1 year. but some are 6 months. But 95% of them is one year.

But the next option would be 6 month. its almost impossible to find a month to month

One year lease is most common.
Very tough to find month-to month and the cost might be a lot more if you could find.

Some of the very large and sophisticated apartment complexes might do 3month lease, but you will pay a lot for them to do this. 12month might be $1000/month, 3month might be $1700/month for the same apartment.

A year lease is most common, and at times landlords will consider a 6 month lease which usually has a slightly higher monthly rent.
