Jbuffan218, Renter in Cape Coral, FL

I am moving to the Cape at the end of the month, from a high crime area in Michigan and am very concerned about safety. Any areas I should avoid?

I will be renting and living on a college student/waitress budget.

Cape Coral was ranked safest city in Florida with less than 200,000 people about 6-8 years ago. Safety and security are always of concern especially when relocating. This is one of the biggest reasons why you a hire a professional in the area of interest.

Regardless what you decide - welcome to SWFL.

This is one huge reason why you work with a professional from the area. Safety and security is everyone's plan and without local knowledge there is always concern. Cape Coral was ranked safest community in Florida based on it's size about 6-8 years ago.
Regardless, you are making a good choice moving to the Cape!
