I cannot help you personally but I can offer some advise. If your credit is bad..you may be able to get around that fact by pre-paying rent or increasing your deposit or both. If cash is an issue..then you should seek a co-signer.
The rental market is not tenant friendly at this time and you will need some out of the box thinking to make it happen. Apt. complexes are typically more flexible with poor credit folks.
