I am an Indian citizen living and working in the US. We have purchased a condo here and we will be moving out of the US in the next couple of months.

IS it possible to still own the condo while I am out of the US, possibly rent it out?

Hi Thomas,

Yes you can hire a property manager to manage the property for you and send you the rent money by direct deposit into a bank. If you have a mortgage on the property still you will want to make sure that you pay the mortgage, taxes, insurance and all that good stuff. If the property is vacant for some time then you still have to pay your obligations without rent coming in. Therefore, be careful that you work with a good property management company. Good luck!
