First of all, I would file a police report for theft. Then I would leave a message with relatives you have notified the police and take it from there.

Look at their application:
They should have listed their Jobs, Banks, references: You took their Checks.
You did get this information?

Mariposa,

First off the below list is a suggestion, I am not an attorney and I do not give legal advise.

Possible steps:
1. Call the police and file a police report.
2. If the tenant still has a lease on the property, begin the eviction process.
3. Once you have a judgement on the eviction file the judgement.
4. Hire a PI to locate the tenant.
5. File a suite against the tenant once the PI has located the tenant.

Best of luck,

Try checking OSCN "Oklahoma Supreme Court Network" and searching the name signed on the lease. Maybe this person has a record. Also, try simple as it sounds, just typing the Legal Name into Google. From there you will have options from PIPL, Pinterest, Facebook, Myspace, Spokeo. Maybe this will help you.

Hire a skip tracer. They have methods the public does not. Once you get the tenant in court you can request the costs to find the tenant as part of the judgement.
