Unspecified, Renter in Los Angeles, CA

Hi, I am looking to move close to UCLA with a budget around $1500. I prefer a newer property on the west side with washer/dryer in unit (if possible)

At 1500.00 per month with an in-unit washer and dryer will be hard if not impossible to find near UCLA, and if you do find it, it will most likely be an older unit at best.

TIP: Are you a student or do you need to be near UCLA for work? Best advise is to look at your times of travel/schedule etc., then pick an area as close as possible to UCLA that are not the heaviest of traffic patterns. You may find what you are looking for this way. example: maybe you'll find your price range somewhere around sepulveda/pico or sepulveda/venic. or Mar Viista.etc.. Good Luck!!!

Newer units near UCLA are not priced that low. Try or (be aware of too good to be true postings as they are scams) for your search, Good luck.

There are some decent high rise apartments on Barrington that are around that range fora 1BR or a Studio. Heading a little further east on Wilshire and Federal near the VA hospital give you arounda 10-15 minute commute by bike or easy traffic day. This is becoming a hot area because more students are moving off campus to save money on their tuition, room & board fees. Act fast, these tend to fill quickly with undergrads who become grad students after fall graduation. IF you go a little further west you can find a few spaces, but parking and amenities will be limited with your budget. If you want to discuss more follow @ChaseEstates on Twitter or email us here.

I would suggest just going a mile west of UCLA on the other side of the 405. Try West LA listings and the 90025 area. Best of luck!

Your budget for the area is not realistic. You need to be in the 2000 plus at least.
