Stephanie Cr…, Renter in 73112

Does anyone rent to people with no credit? We have references, but it seems without credit we are going nowhere.

Renting without credit is pretty much impossible as credit determines your worthiness. Your only option would be from an individual landlord but even then you are going to have a challenge.

Many times people with no credit can get a rental if they have a cosigner. Often a family member or relative is happy to help you get back on your feet.

If you don't have credit there are some companies out there that will work off of utility history and previous rental history. They may require a larger deposit but they are out there.

Every landlord is different. Keep at it and one will work out.

See if you can find someone to be a co-applicant with you who has established credit, or find a landlord who is willing to take a larger security deposit to compensate for the lack of credit. Good luck!
