Does anyone have ideas for places to look for a nice, yet inexpensive, two bedroom apartment?

Asked by David Weigant, New York, NY Sat Sep 21, 2013

I am looking at moving to Las Vegas in April so that I can be closer to my two year old daughter. I need a place that is safe for her and has an area that she can play near by.

Hi, David, Let me know what "inexpensive" means in numbers! ((: By March of next year, there will be many changes so no one can answer that now. There are storage units everywhere and affordable-but many condos are quite spacious, and are gated and have play areas. By the way, I have 4 daughters, 3 granddaughters~so I make a great babysitter!!!! Just saying! Jayne Cutler

I have been pleasantly surprised with the prices I am seeing. I know that $900 would go much further for housing in Las Vegas than it does for me in the NYC area. However, my budget will be lower as I expect my income to be a little lower in Las Vegas. I am hoping for $450 to $500, maybe.

What do you consider "inexpensive"? Compared to NYC you may be pleasantly surprised.
