Yes, it is very possible to have you co-sign for a lease...you just have to find a landlord that will work with you.

What area is your daughter moving to? I manage properties in Santa Monica and all over Los Angeles. Some owners I work for are willing to work with an out of state guarantor and some just aren't. Generally if a parent has great credit, strong income, and is willing to add an additional deposit or pay rent in advance, something can be worked out.
As your daughter gets closer to her move, have her check the rental list on my website.

As a landlord and a Realtor I will rent to your daughter as long as you are the co-signer.
You need to find a landlord that is open to renting to your daughter with you as co-signer.
The landlord will check your credit/history background and may ask for a greater security
deposit or even pay 6 or 12 months in advance for the unit.
The only issue I see is your daughter's lack of a job. This can be overlooked with signing
a lease and paying in advance to help your daughter.
