If you haven't all ready, directly contact those agents that have suggested they could be of help. As stated by them, they will need more information from you. If you are finding it difficult to find housing altogether, you can try contacting the Arizona Department of Housing http://www.azhousing.gov/

All the best,

You will want to take this on a case by case basis.

I own an apartment complex in Phoenix and regularly work with locators. The most diligent ones I've seen are "apartment finders" (that's the company name)
If you're looking for an apartment and not a house, use a locator. For a house, use a real estate agent.

Kelli:

As one of the companies that help those with challenged credit, I always suggest in finding private rentals. As private landlords may not pull credit as would a management company. Even then when renting with bad credit, the most important thing to know is that they are looking for past evictions and or judgments from previous landlords.

Starting over from what? What is affordable to you? Obviously the more affordable the less nice it is going to be.

We have many units for lease and may be able to help. But if you are looking for help you need to provide more detailed information.

As Holly said below, working with a real estate agent is your best choice.

I reccomend you work with a Realtor or an Apartment Locator. If you have good income and a decent or non existent rental history we can find a place. The challenge is evictions... But even then sometimes we can find someone to help.
