Usually it is one month's rent. Depending on the listing, the payer of the commission may be negotiable by the tenant and the landlord.

Hi

It depends on Where in NJ. In Northern Jersey usually the tenant pays the commission equal to 1 months rent. This can be negotiated. It certain distressed areas the landlord would have to pay the fee.
In Southern Jersey the landlord usually pays the fee also equal to 1 months rent.

Hello,
Typically it's one months rent. You may be able to find a place where landlord pays full commission or at least half but that is on a rare occasion. In our area of Union Cty, rentals go quickly so landlords are less inclined to pay any portion of the commission. However, you should look at the bottom of each listing where it will specify who mays the commission and how much.

Thanks and please reach out if you need any assistance.

Elizabeth,
Each property can be different, however typically the commission is equal to one months rent. The commission can be paid by the landlord, tenant or split by both. I would advise you ask about each property you have an interest in. If I can be of any assistance in your search, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Elizabeth, It will depend on the property. Typicallly the fee is one month's rent or 10% of the annual lease, and is either paid by the tenant, landlord, or shared by both. You will need to ask this question for each individual property, since it will vary depending on what the landlord agreed to at the time of the listing agreement.

The rental commission is equal to 1 month rent or 10% of the yearly rent both are acceptable practices. The commission is usually paid by the tenant however on rare occasions the landlord may cover part or all of the commission.

Most rental commissions are what the monthly rent price is. It helps if the Owner pays full commission or splits it with Tenant. Association fees are different. Depends on the Association.

If you are asking how much you pay a Realtor who is listing your condo to rent to others then there is not set price. As I have looked around the average rate is ONE month rent to place a qualified tenant and 10% per month to manage the property.
If you are asking how much to pay a Realtor who is showing you homes for you to rent again there is no set price but I think that $25/showing is fair or a flat rate of $500-$1000 if you plan on looking at a lot of properties.
