Wrong price listed on my property

Asked by tguetig, Enid, OK Fri Jul 5, 2013

I listed a home Zillow at $2000/month. I prospective renter noticed it on trulia at $1200 but I never listed it on trulia. What gives and how would one correct the rent price on Trulia to reflect the correct rent of $2000/month? Home is at 3102 Old Mallard Rd Enid OK 73703

Well, I call in High-Jacking a listing. You post on Zillow and another person high-jacked it and placed an ad on another site which syndicates to Trulia.

This is how many rental scams come out and about.

Here is a link to home on Trulia:…

In you case your property was posted on Postlets by a Fred Howard and Trulia picked up the feed and you landed here on Trulia listed wrong.

Here is the outside site that syndicated to Trulia:

I would try to contact Trulia and have them remove it and I would ask Fred Howard to take it down.. Also, you can visit the ad on postlets and flag it as fraud.

Hope this helps... Good Luck..

Your agent should be able to correct it for you.

The information on your home came from a feed from That listing would need to be changed to correct your issue. The posting on postlets is from Fred Howard.

Look carefully at the Listing and see if anything jumps out at you;
like the contact information.

It has my correct email but list an agent and his number that I've never heard of or contacted. Do you know how I can delete the listing or correct the rent amount.
