under water. But I want to move from the area. Although I will not be able to qualify, until I get the MD house off my sheet, I can still rent where I want to be. Thus far, have tried Craigs List and the local newspaper and no luck even getting a decent inquiry about the rental property. Any suggestions?
Hi Buddy
You can get it rented if you,
1-Price it right, according to the rental rate, in your market..
2-Market it ,in addition to craigs list,try,postlet.com.backpage.com ,put an ad in your local news ,
3- Working with a reator would be the most helpful to you not only in pricing it right, marketting it but also realtors would screen prospective tenants ,and of course they may rent it quick and save you losing another month of payment.
Good Luck

Rental market has been heating up. People losing their houses have to have a place to live. If your not getting any calls I'd say it is more likely than not you are over-priced. Of course this is just regular Joe's opinion..
Hi Buddy- I just saw your question (a little bit out of the area I work). Have you had an analysis done of what your house should rent for? I am near Baltimore, and Craigslist is by far the primary source for rentals. You should contact an agent and get an estimate of the fair rent value.... you may just be asking too much rent.
Are you close to any of the big employers like PAX Naval Air Station etc? Maybe you could put up some flyers....... also, try police stations, barracks, schools and hospitals.... always a good source of renters with stable incomes. Good luck!
Didn’t find what you were looking for? Ask a question!
