Matt,

It depends on the size of house, how much land is there. Rent can run from $550 a month or more. If you have good credit and a good credit score you are better off right now to buy. If you are a first time home buyer you could possibly qualify for up to $8,000 depending on the price of the house. It is 10% of price of home. If you would like the names of some lenders in the area just give me a call or email me and I will be glad to help you. Hi Matt,

No idea - but houses there are really cheap. Why not just buy one in good condition from a distressed seller? There's plenty of stuff out there for 60-90K. Those make for cheap mortgage payments.
