Hi Victoria - The good news is that you should be able to find a nice 2br apartment for $1,100 or less most anywhere in town. Where you land really will be dictated by where your are planning to work. You don't want to rent a place in Huntersville if you are working in Ballantyne, for example. If you are working in Uptown, look in Uptown, Dilworth, Myers Park or SouthPark. If you are working north, look in Huntersville, Cornelius & Davidson. I think you will be pleased with the choices you wil have as far as areas go.

Here are some of the larger property managers' websites you can checkout:

TR Lawing - http://www.TRLawing.com
Henderson Properties - www>HendersonProperties.com
Meca Properties - http://www.Meca.com

All three will be very helpful to you in your search.

All the best,

Depending on how many sq.ft. you need. If you're from the northeast, you're probably used to tiny places for that amount!

How close to the city do you want to be? Do you need to be near a specific place, such as work, or schools?
