The Providence and Pawtucket areas are a clear option, both offer city living with close proximity to Commuter Rail Service... or you might choose the appeal of being closer to the beaches and ocean - maybe even some farmlands. For that... North Kingstown offers rail service as well. It is further south so that will have some impact on your travel time... but it's an amazing community with extremely appealing amenities.

Either way... whether be me, or another Realtor, that you choose to work with... I STRONGLY suggest that you select a professional to guide you.

Good luck in your search... and have a great Summer!!

It all depends on how you want to live and what your budget is. Would you like a suburban home in a town with a good school system or are you at the point in life when a stylish condo in an urban residential neighborhood would suit you? You have many options in the Providence area, all within a reasonable distance to the train. I'm based here on the East Side of Providence which is a great neighborhood and one that many professionals choose, whether they work here or in Massachusetts. I'd be happy to go over your options with you by phone or at my office.
