Hello Gigi:

If you go to http://tinyurl.com/y2xl74c you can see all homes in Danville within a half mile of Monte Vista or San Ramon Valley High. Please let me know if I can help you further.

P.S.: If you want to see any of these homes, do work with an agent who is NOT the listing agent. You need independent representation.

Hi Gigi,

There are currently 26 homes under one million dollars in Danville, the most that l've seen in the last couple of years. If an agent has such a home, they should be able to call you right away and provide it. However, if not, it may take time becasue what you are seeking is a home in a spefiic location to meet a specific need. An agent would have to make the time and effort to target that area, actively market to it and/or use alternative information resources to locate a seller. I will keep your need in mind, as I am actively searching in Danville and current on weekly sales statistics.

Gigi:

This must be a trick question. Your walking distance may be different than my walking distance. Also, you didn't say anything about price range, size, type of home and all that other jazz. But, I'm going to make this easy on you. Check out the link on the next line - its all the homes currently available on MLS in Danville 94526 sorted by price with the most expensive first. Just copy and paste the link to your browser. The link is as follows:

http://maxebrdi.fnismls.com/publink/default.aspx?GUID=866cce…

Upon clicking the link, you will see the first (most expensive) home appear on the screen. To see the other homes, just click on the MLS number on the left side of the screen for the price you are targeting. To see the pictures, just click on the right and left arrows underneath the main picture to go forward or back as you wish. Click on the "M" to see the mapping of that home. Happy hunting. And, let me know if I can show you any of the homes. You can also come back to the link at any time and you will get an update on all those homes - but not on any new ones added. Hi Gigi,

I'd suggest two things you should do before you start looking for a home.

1) If you're not going to pay alll cash, get preapproved for a mortgage. That prevents you from either a) falling in love with a home for which you then find out you can't afford the payments, or b) buying less home than you need because you think you can't afford more.

2) Find a local Realtor whom you trust and with whom you can have easy and accurate communication.

With those two things accomplished, your home search will be more successful and less strenuous.

Hi Gigi,

You must have high school children. I live on the west side Danville and I love having my older son walk to San Ramon Valley High, it's a great school and he absolutely loves it.

Give me a call and I will be happy to give you a list of homes in both areas.

Thanks,
