If my lease strictly says "no pets" and I have a friend in town staying at my apt. with a dog, what's the worst trouble I can get in? Warnings?

Landlord is required to give notice to cure violation but since you are posting here and know it's wrong why push it ?- no pets means no pets + although landlord should not be able to evict you unless you do it again and chances are will not even notice - they could go after you to abate pet dander and fleas costing you a possible small fortune - your asking for trouble.

I didn't even think about fleas, that's such a good point. That would be a nightmare! Alright, making my friend stay somewhere else...good call. Thanks Bill!
