I would like to buy in Diablo Grande, but can't for about another year, so am looking at renting there. My
concern is renting something that will go into or is in foreclosure. What should I look for?

FIRST ANSWER
Just ask the owner before committing to the lease or go month to month. Patterson seems like they have a lot of rentals and foreclosures. Some folks just bought homes and are turning them into rentals. Good luck.
