A couple of additional paramaters based on the helpful responses . . . a garage would be preferable, but I suppose it's not absolutely necessary (though very, very preferable). Laundry is a must. Obviously one bedroom would be used for me, one for my smaller children when they stay and perhaps one for a playroom/guest room.

As far as rent, I pay $2200 now, but would be willing to go up for the right place. Perhaps as high as $2700 or so, but it would have to be the right place. I would also consider going just a little further north along 90/94 for the right place/location -- again easy access to 90/94 is key. Thanks.

There are options. What are other features a home must have, i.e. laundry, garage, etc.? Will the bedrooms be used as bedrooms, office or....? I ask due to size parameters.
