Also, a person who believes illegal discrimination has occurred has up to one year after the alleged act to file a charge with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or may bring a federal suit within two years.

NO!. It is unlawful to change terms, conditions, or services for different individuals on the basis of familial status, this would be a violation of fair housing laws.
