Ask people you may know for referrals, or ask management if they have a list of preferred licensed vendors....

I would try calling around to friends and family around that area. Being locals, they should have pretty good recommendations. They can also help answer any questions or concerns you have. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you! http://www.dicksonplumbingservices.com.au

I agree that getting a personal referral is probably the best way to go. If you just moved in, ask you neighbors if they have ever had any plumbing work done. You could also simply shop around for quotes. I am not sure if a plumber would charge you for coming out, but they should be able to give you a general estimate over the phone.

I definitely know what it is like to update the original plumbing of your home. I recently had to update my bathroom. The plumbing was just too run down and not working anymore. It is important to find a licensed plumber like you had suggested. I would recommend you do your research before you hire one. http://www.wagonerservices.com/about.html

You should ask around and try to get some references from neighbors, friends, and family. Make sure to get reviews of all the companies you consider. Specifically with the plumber, you should look for the places with the best service, then narrow it down to one that you can afford. You don't want to have to redo the work later. It's better to make sure it's just done right the first time.

There are good reliable resources out there to finding the right help. There does need to be some caution because not everything out there is reliable. Though if you know you can trust the website, you can probably trust the recommendations of the website.

My husband would like to put Calgary tile in our bathroom so we have looked just a little bit. It's best to get recommendations from friends neighbors who have done tile work in your area.

For a plumber, I would recommend checking online through ServiceMagic.com or Angieslist.com (Angie's list is a subscription based service, ServiceMagic is not)

Good Morning,
I have a book of contractors I'd be willing to provide you with.
Just give me a call.

No greater referral than: "I've used them in my own home."
